Post grab this guy in your drafts
Miller is going to be the biggest steal in fantasy this year.
I already had an early draft and got him in round 6. He's gonna finish as a top 12 running back, mark my words!

I'm projecting 1200 rushing yards, 38 receptions, 260 receiving yards, 9 total touchdowns

Yeah, his story is Steven Ridley's 2.0.

I don't know about 1200 rushing yards, but I think 1200 total yards and maybe 8 TD's is a nice expectation to have.

I'd look at Montee Ball as well.

I'm thinking Tannehill could be a decent sleeper. He would make a great fantasy backup and could prob be drafted in the last few rounds.

Tanny was drafted in the middle of the draft that I'm in, but that's dynasty league so it may be different. This is my first experience with a dynasty league and I have no idea how they usually go

Tannehill probably won't crack the top 15 this year, Most likely he will in 2014.

I'd much rather take a chance on Miller than draft the same inconsistent guys like Chris Johnson, McFadden or Demarco Murray. I like our zone scheme for him as he always reminded me of Clinton Portis. And with Wallace drawing the safeties out of the box, Miller will be the one to benefit the most.

I like Miller to have big stats this year, but there's no chance I'm taking him ahead of Chris Johnson. The other two maybe, if only because of durability concerns.

Johnson stinks for the majority of the time, then mixes in a few big games. He had 5 games under 30 yards in 2012. I remember his owner in our league couldnt give him away in trade midway through the season.
His 2011 season was an even bigger disaster.

Consistent players win fantasy championships. I look for Miller to have alot of 80 yard games and a touchdown.

I drafted a yahoo fantasy team and an espn fantasy team yesterday. In both drafts I picked up Miller in the 6th round, and Tannehill as a backup QB in the next to last round just before my kicker.

Was it a fresh league that just drafted?

If it was the rookie draft I'm surprised Tannehill was available. Usually young QB's go pretty early in Dynasty.

This is the first year of the league

This is the first year of the league

Makes more sense then.

I have the #1 overall pick in my one league... 8 team league, we each keep one player, winner of the league gets first pick... last year was my first time winning it ... sooo HAPPY

I'm thinking of going Doug Marting #1 overall... Adrian Peterson and Arian Foster will likely both be keepers... my keeper is Aaron Rodgers... so I'm figuring grab a top notch RB... 2nd amongst all backs in scoring last year for this league.

Will try to grab Miller a little later too

I think Rotoworld is starting to see the light. LOL

Quote:
Ryan Tannehill says "what impresses (him) most" about Lamar Miller is the second-year back's improvement in pass protection.
Miller has drawn praise from coach Joe Philbin for the same reason. "He’s picking up pass protections a lot better," Tannehill said. "Now that he’s got that, he’s going to be a great player." NFL Network's LaDainian Tomlinson recently compared Miller to a "faster and more explosive" version of Dolphins 2012 starter Reggie Bush. Miller has mammoth fantasy breakout potential for 2013.
