From Rotoworld.com.

Dolphins signed fourth-round TE Dion Sims to a four-year contract.
The 106th overall pick, Sims was primarily used as a blocker at Michigan State, but has slimmed down and is a natural pass catcher, even if he offers no explosive traits with the football in his hands. The Fins seem to believe Sims can grow into an Alge Crumpler type. He's expected to play significant snaps as a rookie behind blocking-deficient starter Dustin Keller.

I see that a lot, and I get it, but I think the difference is upside. This kid can be a legit receiving threat too... he's not blazing fast but I think he has the tools to be an above average all around TE, not just primarily a blocker. Of course, whether those tools translate to production is what we have to find out.

I think he has more upside than Fasano, especially with his weight at 262 lbs. That said, Fasano was a solid inline blocker and receiver. I will take that, especially when you have Dustin Keller also.

Exactly. Miami needed another Fasano to pair with Keller. It makes for a great TE combination so if this is guy is Fasano I'm very happy.
