in the next 2 rounds I'd like to see us solve our issues at corner and left tackle, and also look at tight ends, receivers and an athletic zone guard.

I think he's great too. But a corner is of bigger concern to me. And there's a good corner lot still left out there.

I'm an Okafor fan. I think he'll end up being a nice steal later.

Not that we're looking at DE.

Would you or anybody be opposed to Hunter or Allen with the next pick? Yes, he is a wr but both are 6'4 and red zone threats who will have great value there since for a while they were both 1st rounders

Opposed to Allen? Yes. He's got some character concerns, so not sure he's on their board.

Justin Hunter is darn tough to pass up at 54. Not that he'll last 21 more picks.

I can agree on Allen but Hunter man I love that kid I keep watching him and saying he's a unpolished AJ Green and in that red zone he can be huge

I would be ecstatic if Watson, Hunter or Armstead fell to 54.

I think someone will take a chance in Marcus Lattimore before round 4.

Between Watson, Hunter, Armstead, Woods, Allen, Alford, Taylor, Wilson, Banks, and Slay there are a lot of good players at need positions (I'm counting the WR's as a need because in today's NFL you need as many playmakers as you can get) that should still be on the board when we pick. We should get someone VERY good.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported on SportsCenter Friday that the Jets are trying to trade up in the draft's second round, and are "pretty clearly" targeting West Virginia QB Geno Smith.

USA Today's Mike Garafolo compares Tank Carradine's knee situation to Da'Quan Bowers' in 2011.
Carradine tore his ACL last November. He was able to run pretty fast in a straight line at his April 20 Pro Day, but the results of Carradine's medical recheck at the Combine "weren't very good." The fear amongst NFL teams regarding Bowers was that his knee injury was degenerative. He was selected with the 51st overall pick. We still wouldn't be surprised if Tank went in round two.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Lions are "actively shopping" the 36th pick in the draft.
It could be a target spot by teams that covet a pass rusher (Tank Carradine) or quarterback (Geno Smith, Ryan Nassib, Matt Barkley). The Lions should definitely get some action. The 36th pick is also positioned just ahead of the Bengals, who showed a ton of pre-draft interest in FIU S Johnathan Cyprien. After day one, Cyprien is easily the best safety left on the draft board.

I'd love the Armstead pick at 54. Or, what if we took a DE? Dion Jordan is a perfect fit for a Sam linebacker. We could replace Misi with Jordan, and then get someone else to play across from Wake like Damontre Moore. What do you think of that idea? Going after two passrushers.

Would not hurt my feeling at all.

I think we're going to use Jordan as a DE except in goal-to-go situations when he'll move to SAM to cover a WR or TE. That being said, if we want to draft another pass rusher I'll be thrilled
