It's been awhile since the Dolphins have actually had either a strong home field advantage or what used to be a strong home-September advantage.

And this team is going to have a lot of new faces on it. It will be tough to get all the pieces together early no matter where.

So if they can stay within earshot of .500 and then get things working AND have a lot of home games, it could work well

thats why they didnt do us any favors. Throwing a bunch of veteran top level teams at us so early on when we probably won't gel for 5 or 6 weeks. Why couldnt they sprinkle in Buffalo and New York in the first 5 weeks.

This is a double digit , playoff bound & probably a super bowl bound team. We shall overcome any shady scheduling , any shady referee calls , or anything that the powers that be try to throw our way from starting this dynasty. Why does everybody hate us so much, we didnt take on the Kardashians as celebrity minority owners.
OK , that was sarcasm ... but in the end it all evens out. We can beat any team in the league (and yes twice on Sunday when it counts).

It is what it is. They have to beat playoff teams if they want to be a playoff team. Cleveland, Indianapolis & Baltimore at home are very winnable games. Baltimore has been gutted, they are not the same team that won the Superbowl. The Falcons will be tough but its a home game. And the Saints on the road will a solid test. If they can make it through this part of the schedule 2-3 or 3-2 they will have been successful. They just have to play them one game at a time.

It's the NFL... who cares what the schedule is every game will be a battle.

Like bobby said... if you're going to be a playoff team you have to beat the playoff teams.

At NE then a short week Play Thurs. Against the Bungles

Honestly, I really like the schedule. It's a tough schedule and it will let us know right away where we stand in the AFC. If we can come out of the first 6 weeks above .500, then we should know what we have works and we can contend for a playoff spot and have the potential to beat anyone

In order to be the best, you need to learn how to beat the best. Bring em on.

We will find out about Miami very EARLY. Colts, Falcons, Saints and Ravens in the 1st 5 weeks. Starting off on the road at the Dog Pound will be a challenge as well.

Come out of that stretch of games 3-2 or better, game on big time.

If you want a winning team, you have to beat winning teams... Doesnt matter when, this is the NFL, its the responsibility of the coaching staff to have his team prepared.
If bringing in all these new names was the plan, then they should be capable of executing that plan.


I dont accept strength of schedule excuses, all teams have the same opportunity.

Right now we are tied for first with 32 teams.
