It wouldn't make sense to release Bess. Better to keep him and let him play out his last year or trade him.

If you keep him, you have four legitimate wide receivers and a legitimate pass catching tight end on the roster.

Aside from that and decent pass protection, there isn't much else your 2nd year QB can ask for...

AdamHBeasley From what I've heard in recent days, the Dolphins envision a role for Gibson AND Bess. They're trying to be the Packers South.
