 The INSANITY Workout
I have recently started the INSANITY workout DVD'S, yes the ones you see on tv. Man........these things are hard as hell to do. The programs are killer you really work up a sweat in just the warm up. I have been doing in for 30days now and I can see some diff in my body. Now as far as the hole 60 days like they say and I will look like them......hard to say. The ppl they show on tv all started out with a small frame and got ripped. Me I think it will take more than 60 days. I started and Im 6/4 270lbs and now about 257lbs. Thats why I say it will take me more than 60 days I have alot of fat to trim down lol. Just thought I would let anyone know If they were thinking about getting the videos. THEY REALLY DO WORK. I went to there web site but didnt find any before and after pics of ppl who tried it other than the ppl in the video. And no I dont work for them lol just a regular guy like you out there. So by the summer I hope....no I will be 245lbs and ripped.

Lol I've been this height since high school... but was a measly 150 back then... now at 24 I've put on a bit of muscle and fat... never been much of a workout guy... I like playing sports, but dont like the gym aspect of it.

 Re: The INSANITY Workout
I'm the same way... most have seen pics of me on here from games etc. I used the p90x stuff for a good while, they are pretty tough as well. I've stopped doing it, and I've stopped running as of late... I've put back on nearly 10lbs. *sigh*
6'3 - last time I weighed - 271
And yes, I played o-line in high school / some d-line

 Re: The INSANITY Workout
I am currently doing the P90X, and I have nothing but good stuff to say about it. About a week or two I started to notice a difference looking in the mirror. When I started, I could only do one chin up... now I can do 10!! I'm kind of starting to plateau, but they definitely keep me in shape. The insanity one does look pretty crazy though lol.

Yeah it looks crazy on tv and it is........but just like P90X it is well worth it. I can really see the diff in my legs, chest, and arms, a little in my stomach to. I just cant wait till the summer, and show off all my hard work. So like Tony Horten say's " I hate it but I love it" lol

 Re: The INSANITY Workout
Just an update on how the workout is going. My 60 days are almost up.......sad to say I don't look like the people in the video yet. But like I said before with the weight I had it would take more than 60 days, so I would say by the end of June. By then I will have reached my goal.

 Re: The INSANITY Workout
I'm 6'1 245. I was upwards of close to 300 lbs. I've been working out and dieting. Dieting really helps too if you are trying to shed pounds Buffalo. I recommend trying the Stillman diet for a week or two. It's really rough... And there is no variety. But, I gaurantee you that you will lose at LEAST 6 lbs (In the first week) from the diet alone if you follow it correctly. I'm on day 4 of the diet and have lost close to 8 lbs. After that I'll go back to my normal low carb lifestyle which isn't so strenuous .
Also this is a high protein and low fat diet. So if you are working out very vigorously.. You will see great muscle gains. And lean muscle mass is one of the best ways to burn fat.

Dang, guys. It sounds as if you need to enter the Rex Ryan challenge, too;) Quote: Rex Ryan Issues Weight Loss Challenge -- Mon May 10, 2010 --from FFMastermind.com
AP reports the Rex Ryan weight-loss challenge is on. The husky New York Jets coach, who underwent lap-band surgery two months ago, began a contest Monday with DT Kris Jenkins and OT Damien Woody to see who can lose the most weight by July 30, the day before the team reports for camp in Cortland. Ryan told 1050 ESPN radio and the team's website that the winner will earn a donation to his favorite charity. "I just want to lose one more pound than those two," Ryan told ESPN. Ryan said he has lost about 40 pounds since his procedure and is down to 311, but wants to reach 275. "The guys are going to have fun with it," Ryan told newyorkjets.com. "There's an offensive player, a defensive player and a 47-year-old coach.

But thats how they do things at the jets, the easy way while everybody else works hard at it......lol

Psht. I've already lost 45 lbs. Without surgery. In a manner of 13 weeks.

 Re: The INSANITY Workout
My husband has P90X, he tried someone's Insanity DVD at work and really likes it. I am hoping to buy it for him later this year for his birthday. If anyone know where I can get a good deal - let me know.
