Well, looks like Earl is going to hit shore once it reaches us...Lol.

For those who have been through this thing, any advice?

Depending on how strong it is, you may want to consider boarding up some windows... have plenty of water and flash lights and hope for the best!

Could loose power for a few days. Plan for that. Might even have bad water too for a bit.

I know its past the fact now but having gone thru to many of these at the most diffucult of times (thats another story) besides the obvious I would tell you the most important thing is to have a full tank of gas in your car (cars)

Yeah, "hurricane" Earl really gave us tons of problems.....10-15 mph winds in the middle of the night. Lol. The cape was supposed to get hit hard, but they didn't get anything either.
