Anyone else think this is out of hand. Seems like they are calling these penalties so frequently & with little reason. Receivers are mimicking contact & it seems that throwing it deep to try to get the penalty is becoming a designed play. After most incomplete passes a receiver usually either looks for a flag or gives the signal to throw one before raising his arms in disbelief that one was not thrown. These penalties are game changers & something needs to be done to ensure that when they are called , it is the correct call.

It's always a tough call. Very much up to the discretion of the official.

Given we have a small, finesse receiving core, I'll take it;)....I agree though. Way too soft a game in the secondary now-a-days.

Half the calls I saw this past Sunday weren't even close to Pass Interference... refs need to get their heads out of their butts.

Im not really into reviewing penalties but this is one I think should be.

IMO, all calls should be challengeable.. A holding call on a TD run is huge. I recall several yrs ago Randy McMicheal being called on one when replay showed his man actually feel down without being touched. Td was taken away & Miami moved back 10 yds.

PI calls should only be the yardage when its an obvious PI. Example the DB mugs the WR because he has been beat. This little hand fighting a 40 Yd call is total BS

That would interfere too much with the refs gambling.
