Any early candidates we should consider? PR, how about your boy from BC, Andre Williams?

I don't watch enough college ball to have a good read on this.

Kadeem Carey is sweet!

I think Carey will go first, and I think Miami could take Mason or Sims in the 2nd round.

Nicely done JP.

If Miami does not sign a running back, which guy do you think brings the most value for Miami's needs and draft position ie would they be better grabbing a 3rd rounder?

Sounds to me like Carey and Sims might combine nicely with Miller based on your evaluation. Or do you think a better back and signing Ronnie Brown for 3rd down duties is best?

Carlos Hyde seems to be the unanimous top back everywhere I look. After that opinions vary, I like Sims (a Forte type) and Mason (some Jones-Drew to him) for Miami.
Also like Kadeem Carey and Terence West.

Now that we're done with the big waves of free agency and the reports that Miami will look to the draft, is everyone holding their previous positions of who they want Miami to take?

I'd say the back I've read the most about in relation to Miami is Tre Mason. If he's there in the 2nd round I have no problem with it.

Just watched the tape on Mason against Missouri in the SEC Championship and came away rather unimpressed.

He had nice stats for the day, but for the most part he couldn't even make it to the second level if the hole wasn't wide open, he went down on the first hit nearly every play and I surely did not see a whole ton of burst. He also dances a lot ala Ronnie Brown.

I know it's only 1 game... but it was against top talent. He'll face much tougher defenses in the NFL.
