Yeah I heard the same thing. Still, he performed well last season, got a big contract and needs to step up. The pick 6 against the Ravens was a good start.

Dansby is leading the league in tackles by a wide margin. Has 2 sacks, 5 tackles for a loss, an interception and a fumble recovery and 5 passes defended. He's found new life in Baltimore.

He's only 5 tackles ahead of Ellerbe and Ellerbe missed half the game against the Ravens with a shoulder injury.

Except that he's in Arizona. Too bad he only had 1 pick, 6 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and no fumble recoveries in three seasons with Miami.

We paid him more than Ellerbe and all he did in Miami was amass tackles and talk to the media about things that should have been kept in the locker room.

Boils down to scheme. Twice now in stints with Cardinals he's been extremely effective. Crowder was talking about this on WQAM and how we forced him to put our guys on defense in the right places, but at the end of the day he was not suited for it. He said he was more ideal for coming off the weak side and allowed to do his thing.

What does this say about Coyles approach on defense. Seems very conservative and predictable. You have both Dansby and Burnett thriving and both struggled a little in Miami. They finally began to play at an above average level but the lack of big plays is telling.

Either way they are both playing better this year than they did in MIA. Our cords. are starting to look weak.

Not so sure about this Reggie Bush looking better thing..He was pretty good here and didn't have Megatron around.. Also we were able to keep him healthy which i don't see happening if they keep using him so much.

More pissed we let him go. PS he was better here than NO

Well they only played one season under Coyle. Dansby played 2 other seasons not under Coyle.

Also, Coyle conservative?

No way, not with how often we blitz.

Yes maybe conservative was the wrong word. Don't get me wrong, his defense thus far has been fairly successful. I hate that two gap fake blitz when there is a back in the backfield. It is a first down waiting to happen.
