Released by Tampa...Is he worth a look at fullback?

If they didn't make Leach an offer, I doubt they would be interested in Hillis.

What would that have to do with it?

Clutts was picked up off the street after the 53 man roster was in...And he aint showing too much...

If Hillis can block like a fullback he would bring some other things to the table...Cutts don't

Leach wanted a sizeable paycheck. I would imagine Hillis can be had for the vet minimum at this point so its a different scenario.

He was just cut from a terrible offense. Is he an upgrade?

That's what i'm wondering...Can he play FB or is he just done? I havn't seen him this year but a couple years ago he was pretty good and at FB he wouldn't be asked to do too much ..He certainly can catch and run better than Clutts

I am just bothered they never made Leach an offer. I think it would have been great for Lamar Miller to have Leach.

They could bring Hillis in. I believe nothing at this point is guaranteed monies.

Who would we cut if we did? Hillis' had a poor attitude at Cleveland. Maybe that's why he's tanked at both KC and Tampa. Is his heart in it any more?

Clutts looked like he was getting after it last week at Indy and you know each week he knows he needs to produce on his blocking in order to stay on the Dolphins.

Hillis of course would be nice because he can do so much more and he has proven it in the NFL where Clutts is a battering blocking ram. It will be interesting to see if that's all they really want out of their fullback or if a guy like Hillis gets considered & money should not be an issue as he could essentially just get the minimum.
