It's a team sport and he's getting $60 million to play. He should shut up and play. He drew the coverage of the defense and opened it up for everyone else. They won. That's the bottom line.

Not to him. To him the bottom line is he comes away with only 1 catch for 15 yards.

"I'm mad at myself just because I didn't have a good game," Wallace said in the locker room. "That's all." - Wallace

"I want our players, all 46 players who dress, to want to make an impact and want to contribute and make a difference in the football game." - Philbin

Wallace still made an impact on offense. His presence forced constant double-teams from Cleveland's defense. That allowed other Miami receivers, such as Brian Hartline (nine catches, 114 yards) and Brandon Gibson (seven catches, 77 yards), to produce against single coverage.

All is well.

Go DOLPHINS!

I think Mike Wallace has to look himself in the mirror today and say, “What a dumb thing I said yesterday about being ticked to not be a key guy in the gameplan. We won. I was selfish.’’ It’s patently absurd, after winning the first game of the season on the road, to complain about your role. It’s one game, dude. Can’t turn into T.O. after one game.

I think Philbin had Starks and Wallace flip a coin this morning to see who he would speak to first.

All 5 of Mike Wallace’s targets came against Joe Haden. He had a drop and only one reception.

Salguero: Much is being made of Mike Wallace's attitude regarding the game plan after the game. In truth, he got more snaps than either Brian Hartlineor Brandon Gibson while still getting targeted fewer times and catching fewer passes.Dolphins’ receivers dropped four passes, with Brandon Gibson leading the way with 2 drops. Wallace also tripped mid route on a deep post down the middle of the field which eventually went over his head.

I will say the qb missed him on atleast 2 would be td's
