I like to post up what the opponents fans are saying on their message boards! Sometimes it's pretty funny stuff. Sometimes it's sad.

Quote:
"We still have some very talented edge rushers in Kruger and Sheard.
Sheard is a BEAST and will make Tannehill have nightmares of him coming at him from everywhere for weeks.
Our Front seven will reach Tannehill and put lots of pressure on him. T.J. Ward, Haden, Skrine, Owen and Gipson should have no trouble covering Wideouts for the 1.5 to 2 seconds it will take our guys to breach their offensive line.
Gordon will be missed but only for his special playmaking/highlight catches. It will be all Little, Cameron and Richardson cramming a lose down the tuna's throat."
--------------------------

"Tannehill is a tool.
This is Greg Little's game. His chance to establish himself as a true #1 receiver. The world is his oyster. The Dolphins corners aren't great ... I think they start Brent Grimes and Dmitiri Patterson .. a guy we passed over and a guy we let walk. Little can have a huge day. It's all on him.
Weeden 22-34 296 2-1
Richardson 28 - 129 1 Td
Greg Little 8-146-2 TD
Browns win"
--------------------------

"Browns 44 - Dolphins 16"
--------------------------

"Yeah, it is Grimes and Patterson... but I'm not sure that's good. Patterson has a huge vendetta in mind, says what happened in Cleveland "had nothing to do with football." Grimes had a pretty terrific preseason and their media said he looked "every inch a shutdown corner."
Aside from Cameron Wake and Ellerbe, their defense is a little nondescript. Wallace, Hartline, and Gipson? Eh. We'll see.
It'd be a great win. Gives us another week to get well and off suspension."
--------------------------

"My gut says from reading what Banner said he will not play. I have a lot of faith in our other linebackers, and until we play a better offense, I'm not worried if he doesn't play"
--------------------------

"i think a lot of people are putting a lot of positive hype on miami with tannehill, yet not seeing the same with the browns.
i think out defense is top 10 even w/o mingo.
gordon is a dumbass for getting suspended but like Z i agree this is where little has to step up (and as tour2ma...benjamin).
i think we break the dolphins in half early on and it's 31-13 brownies.
cameron has 2 tds himself behind TRs 2 and a tom tupa field goal."

Cocky for Browns fans!

I'm sure Jags fans are thinking Gabbert is going to be the next Alex Smith revival and Raiders fans are thinking Pryor will Russell Wilson by the end of the season.

I don't anticipate a high scoring game. I see Tannehill playing close to mistake free ball with a TD pass or maybe 2. Miami's offense should be able to put up 17-21 points based on a decent Browns defense and first game jitters.

The question here is how well the defense can stop Richardson and pressure Weeden. If Richardson successfully moves the ball and helps open up the play action game then it could be a problem. But who is the deep threat? Little? Is Bess going to catch an 8 yd slant and turn it up the field for 30 yds?

Also going to Indi for the phins/colts game. I tried to get a doghouse seat. My brother talked me out of it.

I thought that maybe you were just picking out the homers posts off their board, but this is what they are all saying. No one thinks it's going to be a loss. The funny thing is they are downplaying our defense which is our strength. I think they are going to be a little surprised that Weeden will look like ... well, Weeden.

Dang, I never go to other message boards but that's funny. At least we rely on number logic to predict ,these guys think they are going to roll us an their D is on the top 10. Funny stuff, thanks.

the only 3 offensive players we need to worry about are Richardson, Cameron and Benjamin.

Maybe we are the unrealistic ones. Anyone who picks the Dolphins to win in our Survival League may want to see this:

i think with every pick em game these guys just go with the home team.
Gordon being out is huge for us.

If we can't block Sheard all game we lose IMO. And that spells trouble for this whole season.

Agree on both counts. Neither team has proven anything to this point and both QBs looked good in preseason - hence select the home team advantage.

Plus, Trent Richardson could be a game changer.

I still think Miami wins in a close game.

Here Here! I love seeing the "experts" pick against us.

I always thought Norv was terribly over rated as a head coach. But he sure has made some RBs & TEs look good as an OC.

Glad our Run D is one of the best. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost though, honestly. Theres too many unknowns on this team for me to make a bold prediction such as their fans.

Super psyched to see the Wallace effect tho. Whether he helps Tannehill or the run game, its captivating

Good stuff. Sounds like the Brown Koolaid has gotten a few of them irritable. I didn't know their team was so loaded with talent till i read through there. One dude even bragged on Travis Benjamin as if Miami fans don't know exactly who he is. Oh well. Good job keeping a respectable & level head, Ski

You should post that over there.

I already did a little bit of Cleveland bashing... and mentioned Lebron James...

Went right for the juggular.

That's the spirit of T-Rock in you all. He used to love to stir up the other fan forums ... especially the Jets fans.

I enjoyed that. I cracked up at the Thrawn-lite posts. Man after reading all those Brown fan posts I guess I should be worried. And Rich's comments about Lebron made me LOL.

Not really man. The whole idea of our guys passing judgement on the judgement of opposing fans who's team we're facing is kind of ironic. Both are equally self-serving. I mean did people on this site really believe they'd go over there and find posts from fearful fans? It's not like we're the defending Super Bowl champions walkin' into Cleveland Stadium.

I guess for me personally, place this kind of thing under the "Who cares" files ..... along with obsessing over Tom Brady, the Jets, the Pats, what some columnist said about us, etc. etc.

Well, playing devil's advocate here is how our beloved Dolphin's have fared the last four times Miami played the Browns. Can't really blame their fans for getting excited to play us.

09/25/2011 Cleveland Browns 17, Miami Dolphins 16
12/05/2010 Cleveland Browns 13, Miami Dolphins 10
10/14/2007 Cleveland Browns 41, Miami Dolphins 31
11/20/2005 Cleveland Browns 22, Miami Dolphins 0

the funniest part about everything the Browns fans were saying was how many of them mention Greg Little is an impact player we are suppose to fear. I couldn't believe my ears, fan after fan mentioning him. He has been nothing but a bust since they drafted him. Gordon actually is a stud, but Little????? LOL

http://www.faniq.com/blog/Greg-Little-S ... Blog-56554

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/84230 ... tics-drops

And they think Bess is some type of saving grace for them. I'm actually glad he's on the other side this time. He doesnt scare me one bit.

The only offensive players I am worried about are Richardson and Cameron.
