DAVIE — While most of the Dolphins' starters and top reserves will get little, if any, playing time in the preseason finale against New Orleans, expect the tight ends to be going full speed ahead.

They need the work.

For starting tight end Charles Clay and reserves Michael Egnew, Dion Sims and Kyle Miller, that means their accelerated NFL learning curve continues at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when the Dolphins host the Saints at Sun Life Stadium.

Maybe Charles Clay will actually learn how to catch the ball. I shake my head in disbelief because he has this chance of a lifetime, was known for being johnny hands in college and now its an issue for him.

Hope he snaps out of it. If not cut him.

Seriously. Its frustrating to watch that guy. He was drafted because of his unique size and skill but doesn't seem to want to be any better than a part time good athlete
