He is better than anything resembling a TE on our roster so far.

What do you think?

He's 33, last year did not have a regular season catch with the Patriots, cut early from the Ravens. I guess there's a chance someone will pick him up, but he may want to get used to retirement.

My hope is that Sims will develop, but after watching Clay last night, I can only imagine how far behind Sims must be for Clay to have been given the starting spot. I'm thinking a 33 year old FA might be an upgrade. Either that or just eliminate TE in the passing plans and just have them block.

That guy hasn't contributed for a while. If there were a Veteran/Mentor Reserve spot on the roster then he could be useful

We would be competing for the #1 pick if we went with that strategy. Lol I hope you were kidding.

He's done but it may be worth bringing in for a few days to see if he can outperform
our bums. I'm SO disappointed in Clay and his rout running and drops....thought he had a future but I take that back. PLEASE
SOMEBODY STEP UP!!!!

I say try to pry Brent Celek from the Eagles or DJ Williams or Jacob Tamme from the Packers

Celek would be a good option.

Shiancoe, nahhh. The guy has barely been an impact in the NFL in the recent year.

Why is everyone suggesting Brent Celek? Has Philly confirmed they will trade him???

I find that hard to believe, but IF that were to be the case, sure you have to consider exploring that option as Celek is still an effective TE for sure.

However, go with developing Sims. Huge target, seems to have a lot of upside.

Cut Clay the disappointing lazy route runner with proven butter fingers.

The guy couldn't make a Ravens roster thats dying for a TE and suddenly he'll be great here?

C'mon now.
