 Acquiring more draft picks
Now that Miami gave up a pick for Marshall I'm wondering if the rumors surrounding Brown, Smiley and Ginn will materialize?
I'm even more convinced now that none of them will bring much more than a 4th rounder in return (after the deals for Marshall, Boldin, Holmes, Edwards, etc over the past year).
Can a package of two of them net a 2nd rounder this year?
The brass has definitely proven they are capable of anything.

If they trade Brown I imagine we will see Spiller at 12.

Sorry, it was an Omar Kelly speculation. He tweeted that he has to think Miami is confident they can trade out of the 12 spot. http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sports_fo ... shall.html

 Re: Acquiring more draft picks
Obviously we always had a strong interest in Marshal and was waiting for the tender to be signed. But we had to make sure we the one's getting him, because if he had gone elsewhere and Denver (who drafts right before us) takes Dez, then we lost out on all of our potential #1 WR's. That's probably why we had to throw in the second next year, to make sure. With the trade being over three days now, I can see a lot moves/trades gettng done between each of the days, with more time to explore options, talent, etc.

 Re: Acquiring more draft picks
At what cost do we want to get more draft picks? Do we trade away Brown,Smiley,or Ginn in some pack deal and get a 2nd for 2 of them and a 3-4 for the other think if all we get is a good 2nd then we stay at 12 and pick a real need. If that is (rb) cause we let Brown go then take Spiller if we keep Brown then pick D all the way
