Who wins more, the Dolphins or Hurricanes? The Dolphins won seven games last year and spent more than $100 million on free agents. The Hurricanes won seven games last year, are the media pick to make the ACC Championship Game and for the first time in the Al Golden era looked like they’re pointed toward just playing football and not fighting the NCAA.http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... 3992.story
The website Bovada.com has the Dolphins’ over-under at 8 and the Hurricanes at 8.5, so you know it’s a close pick. I’m going with the Hurricanes based on (a) a veteran quarterback and 10 starters back on offense and, (b) their schedule.
The Hurricanes have seven games – Florida Atlantic, Savannah State, Southern Florida, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Duke (come on, I know they had a good 2012) – that you pencil in as wins. If they go 3-2 in their remaining five games that’s 10 wins. That’s do-able.
That’d be an ambitious prediction for the Dolphins.
