The All-22 All-Star Team is an attempt to provide some insight on the NFL's 22 most underappreciated players. Some will be All-Pros who haven't fully gotten their due; some will be names few casual fans have ever heard. All will, for one reason or another, have been overlooked.

He was not really overlooked, he just was not ready for the NFL when draft came around, and could not make it as a UDFA..

He is a 2 time probowler, 1st team all pro and recieved a 4 year 33 mil extension... Hardly under appreciated.

Under paid for sure, but he chose to stay here and play rather than strike it rich in FA... Trust me, Wake is a few things, but under appreciated is not one of them.. Not in Mia anyway...

We love this guy...

Not under-appreciated in Miami, but his peers voted him only number 89 in the Top 100 despite being a top 3 (2? 1?) pass rusher in the league. Also, Wake doesn't get much national talk. When do you hear about him on ESPN? How often do you hear about Watt, Allen, Freeney, etc

Well he isnt winning a popularity contest, probably have seen him interviewed a couple times. I assumed he just growled and grunted when reporters came near him and they run lol

When your team wins and you are a big part of why, you get attention. When your team loses, and you are not the reason why, you dont...
