Post CEO Mike Dee leaves Dolphins for SD Padres
Quote:
I’m excited to announce that I’m returning to San Diego as President & CEO of the @Padres. It’s not easy to make this move at such an exciting time for the franchise, but I could not turn down this incredible opportunity to return my roots. Despite my new role, I will always be a member of Dolfan Nation. A big thank you to Steve Ross + So. Fla. for four great years. #FinsUp

Dee was here to get the expansion of the stadium done as well as bringing the 50th super bowl here. His speeches at the last 3 web weekends were all about that complete with animated graphics & the presentation they were going to put to the league. I have to think his leaving is a bit because of the failure of those issues.
Yeah , he can take Club Liv with him as well.

Four years has come and gone all ready? I'm not really sure if he was able to really make a positive influence. Perhaps if we'd won more we wouldn't have noticed.

From a win perspective, the CEO really isn't that big a deal. The GM and Head Coach are far more important.

Yep, but we wouldn't have focused on his decisions if the Dolphins were winning. When we lose it is hard to overlook some of his decisions such as Tim Tebow day. I would say that he failed and needed to move on.

I was at that game. Yuck. Having a great time talking smack to a Broncos fan throughout the game, fast forward to the last 3 min...what a buzz kill...and Gator day to top it all off...LOL. All the Canes' flags being waved during that lame ceremony celebrating the Gators made me proud to be part of Canes nation.
