We already won the first round. This draft and free agent period has us once again being very relevant.

If we landed Myles I'd poop instantly where I'm standing

I wouldn't be surprised if all of our remaining picks are defense (along with a RB and QB project).

Ragland would be a great pick up as well.

We need help stopping the run (ILB) or help stopping the passing TD's (DB) anything else defensively is foolish..

I am not opposed to taking the best RB available in 2 either tho. If we cant stop them from scoring, score more on offense.
Im not thinking this is a playoff or bust season ahead of us. Let work the roster, give him some time.

Miami is in position to get a very good player in the 2nd round. I am sure there is going to be some trading going on tonight as well.

While he should be considered my guess is Miami is going defense on this one.

We've been asking for his replacement for the second straight year. He seems to get worst each year.

Don't let Swerve see you say the name Henry. World War 3 :)

Going to be fun to watch tonight.

Why would a team that utilizes an offensive system that throws to running backs draft a running back that can't catch?

No No No Henry please!
and to further the point, please no runningback until round 3 or 4. Elliott was the only elite one.

I can now see a scenario in which the Dolphins don't take a CB until the 4th round at the earliest. They trade up for Jack, or Dodd or one of the other top rated D-linemen are there at 11. Third round, the last of their coveted RBs are there and they feel compelled to take him. Good thing CB is so deep this year; I didn't think we'd go 2 rounds without drafting one, and now it may be no sooner than the 4th potentially.

We have Suh and Phillips. We're fine.

Can't catch, can't create and it's been said he doesnt break tackles.
Not a bad player but more 3rd round ability.

So just keep drafting defensive tackles up high without letting our highly drafted 2nd year player develop along side of our 90 million dollar player?
We need better linebacker play.

Music to my ears. Dont take a back early.

Quote:
Dolphins coach Adam Gase said he views Jay Ajayi as his starter.
"He knows he’s the starter," Gase said. "He’s showing me a lot of great things." The Dolphins have looked committed to Ajayi after striking out on C.J. Anderson and Chris Johnson in free agency. Miami is still expected to add competition through the draft, but Ajayi's stock is on the rise with Ezekiel Elliott going to Dallas. Ajayi should only have to hold off a Day 2 or Day 3 pick.

Hey Dave, I know we are knee deep in politics....would you like to recant?

Mr. Irrelevant was one of my favorite sleepers. Kalan Reed.
