Post NFL pondering moving the draft to mid-May in the future
Heck. I think late April is late, but it seems to fill a large empty space for the fans between Free Agency and camp. I can't imagine waiting another month for the draft.

I've said that for a long time. The prep-overload on the draft has gotten ridiculous. With the league pondering moving the draft to mid-May, it could get worse. Much worse. Much more paranoia, much more over-thinking decisions that could have and should have been made the week teams leave the scouting combine. This draft should be held March 25-27 (after the early rush of free agency), not April 25.

Another month of mock drafts and draft rumors would be unbearable.

Means my office will have another down month of production. Funny how business seems to pick up in early May.

I might be in the minority here, but I love all the talk and speculation. All the rumors and mocks. All the player evaluation and tape watching. I wouldn't mid at all if the draft were moved back actually

Great. Roger Goodell, the self-proclaimed "savior" of the National Football League, wants to ruin it more.

Yeah, before would be great.

The draft this weekend doesn't help me out with Finals....

the Thursday night thing is so uneventful. Most of my buddies have to get to bed midway through the 1st round so they can get up for work. Round 1 and 2 should be on Friday. The rest of the draft all day Saturday.

I do miss the days when the draft was a two day event instead of three.
