Now I know he is not elite and I know he's up there in age now but he sure did a darn good job of protecting Flacco during the Ravens playoff run. Why not give this guy a one year deal with incentives and either draft a LT in later rounds or get one next year in the first round OVER paying Albert $9 million a year AND a 2nd round pick as if he was one of the elite LT's in this league. I'm nervous that Ireland is panicking because he needs to win now and will give in to Alberts demands.......

Sign McKinnie and that allows us to draft BPA (Eifert please!) and keep our 2nd rd pick!

Does anybody agree with me?

No, McKinney is not a hard worker, not a good scheme fit, ranked middle of the pack as far as tackles and gave up 7 sacks and 29 hurries in 2011 followed by 3 sacks and 7 hurries in 5 starts in 2012.

Albert gave up 1 sack and 12 hurries in 12 starts in 2012.

I'll take that.

I agree that Albert is better but is he worth giving up a 2nd round pick and paying $9+ million a year?

If he can be a top 10 pass protector, as he's been with KC, yes.
