JAG? Or more than that? He did have 6 sacks last year, but I'm thinking the money should be going to the O-Line, not DT. It's just a visit, of course. Needs to be low-budget.

To replace McDaniel and you never have enough dline depth but he wont get much money especially the way the market has been and we will sign another olineman or 2

I agree. The money will not be big and he provides depth with the loss of Tony McDaniel, and you can never have enough pass rush. Especially push from the interior.

From Rotoworld.com.

Panthers re-signed DT Dwan Edwards.
Edwards turns 32 in May, but showed in 2012 that he has gas left in the tank. His six sacks were the most by a Panthers defensive tackle in a decade. Edwards' return gives some credibility to a Carolina interior line that is annually among the NFL's worst. They need to continue to add talent in April's draft.

They could have. I know at this point in free agency that Ireland is not looking to overpay, especially for a DT on the wrong side of 30.

I thought we were high on Kheeston Randall as the 3rd tackle.

I think they are swerve, but the Dolphins are losing Tony McDaniel. I think the Dolphins want to maintain that depth along the DL, and I can understand that.

I guess we'll just have to draft another guy.
