I'm hoping the change is pretty minor.............some of these concepts look arena ball to me.

Somebody please leak the logo. I don't feel like worrying for a month!

Sure looks like the normal one in that pic to me... just because it is not in color, it may look different. The lines seem like they are no different

Agree, that looks like logo for a cruise line.

The lines arent different but this one jumping threw the sun.

As long as they keep the sun for tradition, then I will most likely like the new logo.

This is the one the majority of sites are claiming to be closest to the real logo.

I don't mind the Dolphin looking less like a cartoon character. I actually like the new style, but I wish the shape didn't change. I don't like the flipped tail. I also prefer the design of the previous sun.

For what it is worth, I like the one under Rodney's picture of Hartline signing much better than the one with the tail flipping up.

When they changed the logo in 1997, a lot of people didn't like it. I thought it was a great improvement.

This time however, I am a little more disappointed. It will take me a LONG time to get used to that one, if that is indeed it.

I agree that the logo could use an update. It's very cartoony. I'm good with the helmet on the Dolphin going away, I just wish it kept the same shape, with the tail tuned down.

I googled "dolphin jumping out of water" and every pic I saw had the dolphin's tail pointed down.

Its like the jets having a propeller plane on their helmet.

The logo in the Hartline picture is the current logo... the Dolphins addressed that by taking a photo of the table he was signing on lol

Ya, it's cartoony .... looks very generic like something I'd see on a bad pamphlet. Really was hoping for something edgier, more with the times.

Glad the colors seem to have stayed the same. I wonder what changes there will be to the actual uniforms. Weird stripes? Number font? Alternates?

I'm going to buy up some of the old stuff just in case.

Fan reaction seems to be poor.

I wish they would forget about waiting till next month and unveil the entire uniform now. I hope it doesn't have weird stripes or anything, and hope they didn't change the helmet color.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought dolphins couldn't flip their tails up. It's just the VAST MAJORITY of pics I see of dolphins jumping out of the water have their tails down.

Plus, I would rather the new logo emulate the previous one more.

They are still claiming that isn't the new logo.

for our sake I hope it is a fake. Speaking as a graphic designer that logo is extremely weak. I shutter at what the uniforms might look like. I liked 4 or 5 of the logos in that fan contest.

AND, the unveiling has been moved from the 18th to the 25th (first day of draft).

Also says the face masks will be white. Does that mean the helmet is aqua now?

So if it is confirmed, why wait, and why push the date back?

Not sure how I will like white face masks. Guess I will have to see it. Tweeking colors too? I'm nervous!
