When healthy, he is more of a sure thing that Sean Smith.

I think we should kick the tires. He was the 17th best cornerback in 2011 according to PFF and that's pretty darn good. Last year he played in 4 games before having a shoulder injury that made him miss the rest of the season.

I think the main reason the Panthers cut him was his $7.9 million price tag for 2013. Before the shoulder injury he was very dependable.

Free agency value is now at the cornerback position. You can sign a free agent cornerback at a reasonable price and still pluck one out in a very deep draft.

Hey, a home boy. Since he has the option of where to go now, I would think he'd be interested in being near family.

Miami may get two starting capable corners out of free agency for what Sean Smith wants.....I would take Gamble and Houston of Detroit and I bet manipulating numbers the fins come out on top.

With the number of safeties and cornerbacks that were let go today and were already on the market, this is turning into a buyer market.

Chris is coming off an injury that kept him out a large majority of the year. Get him in and check him out, and if he checks out, perhaps offer a good contract for him and the team and bring him back home.

He been a very solid cornerback in the league.

I'd take almost all of the other free agent corners over Smith.
Give me Chris Houston, Keenan Lewis or Cary Williams combined with a 2nd round corner.

Chiefs signed CB Dunta Robinson to a three-year contract.
And so it begins. One hour before the free agency frenzy kicks off with the opening of the legal tampering window, the Chiefs step in and grab Robinson, who was released by the Falcons last Friday.
