OT: Philly trades McNabb to Redskins/ Washington go OL @ #4
Pretty ballsy of Philly to trade Donovan within the division, and you can pretty much guarantee that Washington will go OL now with Russell Okung at #4.

Apparently the Redskins offered Albert Haynesworth in the trade and the Eagles turned it down. Another classic case of Snyder throwing huge money out there and a year later the Redskins are willing to trade Haynesworth.
It does not help that Albert has belly ached about possibly spending time at NT in the Redskins 3-4 defense.

No question he will be traded, with Buffalo and Oakland at the top of the list.
I feel sorry for the kid because he has been in so many offensive systems and had so many OC. Now, he could end up in Oakland or Buffalo, and neither one of those situations are good.
I think Jason Campbell has talent and is a bright kid.

They gave their 2nd round pick this year and either their 3rd or 4th next year.

I'm surprised they traded him within their division. I can't figure that one out. Do they not think that he can beat them with the Redskins?
I'm just happy that he wasn't traded to the Bills. He has a couple good years left in him.

Depending on what happens in the first three picks their #4 can be very valuable. They might trade down and get a 2nd back that they traded for mcnabb and still get a good tackle

I think Jason Campbell has talent and is a bright kid. Personally. I hope they send him to Buffalo. The guy is not good. Believe me. I live in Skins/Ravens territory. I've seen enough of him to know that he's a career backup.

Why am I not impressed about this move?
I gotta say I was LMAO when I heard they wanted to include Haynesworth in the deal... No Mr. Snyder no one will pay the $$$ you paid to bring a NT... They must be thinking the Eagles are retarded or something... lol

I'm just happy that he wasn't traded to the Bills. He has a couple good years left in him. I read an article earlier in the day (I'll have to try to dig up the link), but McNabb and Kolb basically had the Eagles by the balls. McNabb was refusing a trade to anywhere but Washington. The Bills tried to sign him with an extension and everything and he turned it down. He told the Eagles that he would retire if they tried to trade him to Oakland. The article also stated that Kolb told the Eagles that if he wasn't the starter this season, that he wouldn't sign an extension and his contract is up at the end of the season.

Yikes, I really hope Kolb falls flat on his face this season....spoiled little crap.

Also, how BAD has that offensive line been while he was with the Skins. Pretty bad from what I saw. Hard to develop any QB when OC change and system change as much as they have in Washington.

He had his best statistical season last season behind probably the worst o-line.
