Post certainly seems like Jennings would like to be a Dolphin
Quote:
Impending free agent WR Greg Jennings says he has "prepared my family for change," and added that he and Dolphins coach Joe Philbin have a "great relationship."
Jennings joined the Dolphins' team-owned radio/web TV show and stared into the camera with a smile and said, "Joe, how you doing. Remember me?" Jennings, 30 in September, has been linked to the Dolphins ever since it became clear that he wasn't in the Packers' future plans. Miami is fully expected to try and sign one of the top-flight potential No. 1 receivers on the open market.

Is it wrong that this reminds me of OchoCinco telling Parcells to give him a call?

Maybe I didn't expect Jennings to make such a big deal out of this but hes hyping it up. I, probably like he, expected Green Bay to at least show interest in resigning him as a career Packer. Oh well.

I hope Joe remembers him fondly. We can't just roll with Bess and some rooks

I like the idea of adding Jennings if he's willing to sign for a reasonable amount. Anything over $7M a season is too much for a 30 year old receiver with multiple injuries in his past. If we can sign Jennings for somewhere around four years and $25M, I'd be ok with that. He'd be a great leader and playmaker for our offense.

I want to see Wallace or Bowe added as the #1 WR. I ccould see Jennings coming in if Hartline is not resisgned. But I would hate to see Jennings signed as the answer to Miami's need for a legit #1 WR.

I agree, Jennings would be a great addition, but he would need some talent around him in order to be good. Jennings is at his best when he's able to move around and work all parts of the field. He's a great versatile receiver, but he isn't that Megatron, Brandon Marshall, A.J. Green type that constantly needs to line up outside and get fed the ball.

If we get Jennings, I hope we also draft a receiver early on, either in the first or second round.
