Not much to write home about, but depth is depth. Good to see that Ireland and his coaches are churning the bottom of the roster.

Dolphins signed CB Michael Coe.

Coe sustained a hamstring injury while with the Giants earlier this month and ended up on injured reserve. It turns out the pull wasn't so bad. The Giants waived him off IR on Monday and the Dolphins have scooped him up as depth two days later.

This was written back in September. Coe looks like someone who can give the Dolphins decent depth in the secondary.

Quote:
Michael Coe injury has Giants' secondary hurting

It's not always how many injuries a team suffers that matters. It's how many they suffer at one particular position.

The Giants might be passing the point of no return at cornerback after their loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday night.

Potential starter Terrell Thomas is out for the season. His replacement Prince Amukamara was not available for the season opener. Third-round pick Jayron Hosley is getting back up to full strength. Amukamara's replacement Michael Coe got hurt in the second half Wednesday night, forcing Justin Tryon into action. And that's when the Giants secondary really collapsed.
