 Has Oliver Vernon has earned a starting position on defense?Nope. He's jsut a situational player right now and he's doing well at it.

Re: Has Oliver Vernon has earned a starting position on defense? I agree, let the kid continue to accel on special teams and use him when necessary as a 3rd down pass rusher. I don't see any reason to increase his role right now. I don't see him as a major upgrade over Odrick on 1st or 2nd down.
