What is up with Dan Carpenter this season? He seems to be struggling big time with accuracy beyond 40 yards. Do we start to look for a replacement? Or should we keep him around and hope he comes out of this funk?

2012:
0-29 - 2/2 100%
30-39 - 2/2 100%
40-49 - 2/4 50%
50+ - 0/2 0%

Def just a slump, stick it out the whole season and think about it then. Not too hard to pick up someone to compete in the off season...

He slumped last year as well. In week 2 against the Texans, I believe he missed 2 chip shots.

And he's being paid millions. We can find someone to do his job at a fraction of the cost.

Thank you Finhead! I was waiting for someone to drop Ray Finkle.

But in all seriousness, we need to keep an eye on Carpenter. While I think he can get things back on track, I just hope this slump ends soon and doesn't cost us any more games.
