Post Croyle's Defensive Game Plan is ....
For the first time in many years I really believe this team can get turnovers every week. The trick is to quit giving them up on the other side.

Quote:
''The game plan every week never changes,'' linebacker Kevin Burnett said. ''Stop the run, eliminate the big plays and get two turnovers. If you can do that, you can beat anyone in this league.''

Quote:
Miami has totaled 15 sacks, which is tied for sixth in the NFL. And Coyle's unit has seven interceptions, which is tied for fifth in the league.

It sounds like a simple approach, but sometimes the simplest plans work the best. Our defense has played very well this season. You can say what you want about the secondary, but they're cutting down on the big plays, and they're creating turnovers. We've picked off the opposing quarterback in every game this season except Houston. In the last three games we've pulled down two interceptions in each game.

I think this group is only going to get better and play faster as the season rolls along. These guys have only played for Coyle for a couple of months now, imagine how good they'll be after a season or two.
