Get ready for Marshall to sit out a game
This isn't good news with a pass happy Cincy on the road. Even Carroll was sidelined in pracice today. I'm going to guess Carroll will go but Marshall (continuing back issues) might sit. They activated a DB from the practice squad...never a good sign.

Hopefully the DB comes out and suprises us, kind of like Wilson did last year with a pick.

Re: Get ready for Marshall to sit out a game
Sounds like RJ Stanford was practicing across from Smith today. He's got a little playing time, I guess we'll see what the kid can do. We can't really can't do much about this so we'll just have to roll with the punches. But the Bengals secondary is nicked up too so I guess both teams will have their opportunities to attack down the field. I just hope Smith can keep A.J. Green somewhat under control like he did with Fitzgerald.

Anyway maybe Wilson will suprise us again. Omar Kelly said on twitter he is working as a corner again in practice.

I'd rather give Wilson the snaps at corner over Marshall... he's awful... Iowa was on the money with that prediction.

This is just more and more evidence of why that Davis trade was horrible. Pass coverage is like pitching in baseball, you don't trade it!

I wasn't in favor of the trade, but Davis isn't showing why it was a horrible move. He's stinking things up himself. There's a lot of "red" in these stats and it doesn't mean he's on fire. .

Re: Get ready for Marshall to sit out a game
Again, Davis didn't get the advantage of attending Indy's trainnig camp. He was thrust into the starting lineup the week he got there and it has been baptism by fire. Give the dude some slack. It's telling that he still rated ahead of Marshall which tells me it was a stupid move. Wtih both Marshall and Carroll questionable this week, there's not doubt in my mind that they were too quick with the trigger finger on this.
