Re: Miami gets extra 7th round draft pick That's it? They lost Goodman, Hill, Holliday, Wilford, Darilek, and Roth (idk if Roth counts since it was the middle of the season) and only gained Grove, Wilson, Taylor...is that it?
If so, I think a 7th isn't very fitting. _________________

I don't think contract has anything to do with it, it's based on what they consider lesser or equal talent...but I don't know how they figure that out. _________________

So we acquired 3 players, lost 2 players.....surprised we got any. |

Re: Miami gets extra 7th round draft pick I believe we only signed two players who counted - Joe Berger, Jake Grove. I am not sure exactly how the system works but it has something to do with how much playing time they have during the next season.

Re: Miami gets extra 7th round draft pick Well NE is very well built. Belicheat knows exactly what to do... that is build through the draft. Every year they have in place a number of players to let go. Those are then replaced through the draft.

Traded/released players play no role. _________________ A good RB is nice, a good QB even better, but it's best to be able to stop someone first. |
