Anyone know the time frame for Hartline returning?

Last I remember hearing/reading was he would be ready for game 1. However I have not noticed him on any camp twits yet.

Just curious if he is day to day, or still a few weeks out...


PS: I refer to Hartline as the WR ppl love to hate. I personally admit my homer mancrush on him, and after seeing this group I think if healthy he can add alot to the mix. Just need to get some chemistry and trust built. He isnt going to be running wide open all day, but he will win battles for the ball and make the tough catches. Two things that do alot for a QB...

I'd love to see him back in the mix because I think he's hands down better than Wallace and he's slightly better than Naanee. When he gets healthy I think Hartline will easily be our 2nd best receiver behind Bess.

But I know I have seen some great things from Hartline here and there, and then he disappears, like his number wast called often. Nothing surprises me with the last two OC's the leagued passed DH fifteen years ago, and DaBoll was terrible with his passing attack.

I think my outlook on him is he just hasnt been given the chance to thrive.
But admittedly, I am biased LOL

I'm also a Hartline fan. Guy's not extremely athletic but he's real fast and he's a baller. He'd have much more fan-appealing stats if he had a top-notch QB throwing him the ball. It'd be a (albeit pretty small) relief to see him in our offense again considering how bad its been altogether this preseason.

Don't see it. He is making the team or going on IR. One thing he won't be is CUT.

If healthy he is Miami's #1 WR. Cutting him isn't even an option.

Why is cutting him not even an option? I think it's one of several options: PUP, IR, cut, traded, etc.

Well not many teams are trading for guys who cant play...
Gotta reach an injury settlement if you cut him.. 565k salary, 100k bonus. Barely even makes a mark on the cap...
Probably cheaper and easier to put him on IR or PUP. Not sure how the settlement deal works, but I bet that salary is already guaranteed.

There is not much doubt in my mind he makes the team. He is better than most of the guys i see out there now... Just wondering about his injury... They arent talking, which makes me think he wont play anytime soon.

Im not as optimistic as some about the WR's.. I think if lucky we get two decent guys out of the group.

Hartline is sidelined, that's why I was posting this. They are keeping it quiet, most reports I read had him expected back a week ago. Still have yet to read that he is practicing.
All I know is its a calf injury and it happened during the spring practices.

With all the talk about the Dolphin WRs, how has his name not come up?

What kind of calf injury? When will he be back? What kind of shape is he in?

I highly doubt Hartline gets cut! But with the way Philbin is running things, right now anything is possible... Sheesh!
