The Dolphins are expected to bring in unrestricted free agent G/C Richie Incognito for a visit next week, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Jackson says that the Dolphins put in a claim for Incognito after he was cut by the Rams in December, but lost out to the Bills in the waiver process. If Incognito could control his temper, he'd fit right in with the mauling offensive front of the Dolphins and push Donald Thomas and Nate Garner for the right guard job.

Yeah i dont like this move at all... guy has no clue how to control his temper.

If he couldn't make it on one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, what on earth warrants a starting spot for the Dolphins?

He got cut because he cursed out his own coach.

Incognito has started all 47 of his NFL games but was cut by St. Louis in December after committing two personal-foul penalties (for head-butting Tennessee players) and verbally confronting coach Steve Spagnuolo.

He withdrew from Nebraska in 2004 after being suspended for repeated discipline problems, including misdemeanor assault.

Inognito doesn't require draft picks, a big contract, or even guaranteed money for that matter. With this being the uncapped year, there is almost no risk in picking this guy up.

He committed 11 personal fouls in his four seasons with the Rams. His tenure ended when he was flagged for two personal fouls and had a sideline confrontation with Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo in one game.

"There's a fine line, especially when you play offensive line," Incognito told Darlington. "You're coached to play through the whistle, and I've always been toeing that line. Always over and back. It was a real good wakeup call getting cut in St. Louis. I was really comfortable there. I'd been there my whole career.

"Getting moved out of there to Buffalo, it really made me look at the error of my ways. It was really a blessing in disguise to get cut out of St. Louis."

At least he is aware of his antics... Although his off the field behavior may be more detrimental....
