Good reasoning by the Dolphins on their quarterback situation. Chad Henne is the franchise. Tyler Thigpen is a young-with-experience No. 2 And Chad Pennington works to develop the two while rehabbing and not being a threat to play. From SI.com Peter King's column: "Interesting sign that the Dolphins don't plan on Chad Pennington playing much, if at all: He gets $200,000 in bonus money for every game he plays one or more plays."

Well that means he's atleast 3'rd. I expect for the first couple of games to even have Pat White listed as 3rd, even?

I'm not sure how White fits in this situation. I highly doubt we will carry 4 QBs, especially if we decide to carry 4 RBs again (which was a surprise for some last season). There just isn't enough room on the roster to carry extra guys when we have so many holes to fill with guys that will actually need to play. We can't very well have a roster full of developmental guys/guys we don't really want to cut when we need guys who will actually play and contribute on a regular basis.

I'm sure there is some use in Pat White, but it's not at QB if we have Henne/Thigpen/Pennington already on the roster.
