It's going to cost a lot more to get Andrew Luck and RG111.
If that's all Indy wants for Luck, if I was Ross, I'd up the ante.

Seeing that all those types of trades happen every year, right? Nice madden mock draft though, I'll have to try it on my PS3

I find it amusing that people think teams will have to give up SO MUCH to move up to get these guys.

When you consider what Atlanta gave up to move from the low twenties to move up into Cleveland spot in the top 10 to get Julio Jones, I would think something along those lines or less. Especially if you are a team in the top 10 like Miami will likely be.

To give up what Adam Schefter is talking about is utterly ridiculous. 3 1st round pick and a couple of 2nd round picks. Really? 1st rounders and 2nd round pick are looked to as heavy contrubutors, and to give up that much is unreal.

If Miami had to trade to Minnesota to that #3 spot, it will no doubt cost WAY MORE than this trade scenario. Teams are getting ridiculous these days asking for the farm just to move a few spots, so Miami would have to probably cough up this years number one, probably their #2 and or maybe a next years #2 etc etc.

i agree !!!
i think it will cost a 1st in 2012 and 2013 a 2nd rd in 2012 ,and maybe a player ???

and imo i think it will cost us more than a 1st and 2nd for the 3rd pick overall!

if we dont trade up ,we may have to reach for a qb like tannehill ,but other teams will be in the same boat

I agree the dolphins would get off light only losing a second to move up 6 spots but that would give the vickings 2 top 10 second rounders wich is guys who are ggenerally considered first round talent. And they have washington giving up 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd. It might take a little more but that's quite a bit right there
So moley if the begging of of your post is refering to getting luck then that is acually less than what they have the skins giving for luck

IMO, Dolphins shouldn't trade the farm for a QB prospect. Other than Luck, this doesn't seem to be a strong draft for QB. I'd like a top tier WR, TE and RG, DE, OLB, etc...Too many holes to fill to reach for any QB other than Luck. Pick the top playmaker available and then maybe trade back into the bottom of round one for L.Jones or Tannehill or hope they fall to us in the second.

Miami should look for a pass rushing OLB with the first pick. That mock draft had Zach Brown going at #12...I think he has been clocked at sub 4.3 in the 40.....

Take Rambo, safety from Georgia, in the 2nd round.

Maybe trade down where u can to stockpile draft ammo for next year and make a run at a QB.

the trade point chart has been changing every year. The old point chart was out of whack. The compensation has lessened.
