The guy had 1,167 receiving yards last season, good for 77.8 yards per game, and nine touchdowns. The Dolphins had been thought to be interested in making an offer to Jackson but apparently the team is going to continue loving him from afar for now since it is likely the Chargers would match any offer the Dolphins made. And if the Chargers didn't match the offer, the Dolphins apparently aren't ready to give up the first- and third-round picks it would likely have to give as compensation for signing the restricted free agent. _________________
