Crowder is Miami's best ILB against the run
Crowder is a one dimensional linebacker who is poor in pass coverage. I don't have a problem with his tackling ... in fact, you could make a highlight reel on him. But I"ve seen him make the wrong choice in reading the play at times. One thing I do notice is that he seems to pair up well with Dansby. The defense seems to be better when he is in there.

For those wanting to dump Channing Crowder, consider he was Miami's best inside linebacker against the run (10th) this season, according to profootballfocus.com. Tim Dobbins was 20th, Dansby 28th. And though Crowder was third-worst in yards-per-completion pass coverage among inside linebackers, Dobbins was the NFL's worst (13 of 14 throws against him were caught; 17.8 average). A.J. Edds will help there.
