Totally pathetic showing in the first half by everyone. Thigpen made some decent plays but man, Ross has to clean house so we can get some coaches who can evaluate talent and build our game plans around that talent. If Ross keeps these morons, I might have to cancel my NFL ticket and sit next year out!

GO FINS!

1st and 10 start of 2 minute offense: 2 running backs, playaction. Penalty.
3rd and 2. Spread...throw to Mickey Shuler...
What a joke.

This team has given up. This is the worst thing that could have happened to Sparano. I think Ross has to let him go now.

Fire everyone, trade Marshall, Bess, Hartline, Wake, Dansby, Long, stock up on draft picks and lets start rebuilding through the draft...

:fart:

Man, if we could have just won this game it would have been soo much different

38-0 against the scrubs is more than losing, it is quitting.

The Sparano side might be a little brighter if we had won today. Im not ready to give up on him because i like our coach but Im not an owner. Even if we keep him & bring in a new OC, what are the chances Henne or whoever picks up the new scheme & has success? It would be nice if our organization chose a direction & went with it after being in limbo for about the past 10 years. Either give Sparano a fair chance with another year or make the big move & go after Cowher to stop the program from backsliding into Buffalo Bills status

I think you keep Sparano. Other than today the team hasn't really quit on the guy. We are usually a pretty disciplined team as well. We need a whole new offensive scheme. Personally if we are going to be 7-9 then at least we can be an entertaining team to watch.

He doesn't mean it, but thinks we should keep Sparano. I don't think this game is the deciding factor, but it clearly illustrates how he isn't getting it done.

I think what he was saying was that we were 7-8 so it didn't really matter.

Flip a coin on Sparano and the rest of the staff. If Ross gives Sparano a chance to serve out his contract and improve, great, but if not, hire the best available head coach possible.

It's difficult to argue on behalf of Sparano after today's performance. The Dolphins have had a late season meltdown that even Dave Wannstedt couldn't engineer.

What would you call uninspired losses to the Bills, Lions and Browns at home?

:yay:

Agreed it is another very frustrating finish to the season. But I think the worse thing this team could do is fire Coach Sparano. Then you start turning into the Washington Redskins with their billionaire owner screwing up things.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the worse thing that ever could have happened is that we went 11-5 that first year. It really did ramp the expectations up to monumental proportions. The constant regime turnover is killing us. We need a new QB, RB, a couple of O-linemen, and most of all an offensive coordinator. But we will be set back even further if we change the head coach.

The losses to the Browns, Bills and Lions had alot to do with the offense not scoring any points. The Cleveland game was a joke offensively.

Yup, Ross needs to fire everyone...He really knows what to do......Maybe he should hire Snoop Dogg as a head coach !!! That should bring in more celebrities since thats all Ross cares about......Hire Pit Bull as the new Def Cord, and Serena "Compton" Williams as the new Special Teams coach. And maybe Fergie could take over as offensive line caoch. J Lo and Mark A. could take over Parcells job. And Gloria Estefan could slip in as General Manager. And of course we can't forget T Pain....He could be hired as the Parolee / Probationer liason.....What u think !!!

Thanks W. Huzeinga......We love you too !!!!!

and this team was coached in an eerily similar fashion to past Wannstedt teams this year.
Hoarding 10-point leads like they're gold nuggets.
Making the defense defend them for the remainder of games.

Then you watch the Lions play-by-play. They're takin shots downfield every 5th snap. That's what I wanna see. Some aggressiveness.

The Lions may have a worse record but they try to be entertaining and exciting. I want the fins to field a winner but losing and being boring is just brutal.

Special Teams and offense are embarassing. Even when we win it is a right down to the last minute type of game. But I do think Sparano should stay. Switching head coaches every few years does nothing for a franchise.

Defense played like crap too. Backups controlling the clock for 9 min? 3rd and 4th recievers getting wide open? THis entire team didn't play today.

What bad is that the team lost 4 of its last 5 games ... which shows little support for Sparano among the players when they needed to win to keep his job. Today's blowout loss was an absolute embarrassment.

I understand the WHOLE team played horrible today but don't you think the defense is sick of getting only 10-14 points a game to work with.

I like Sparano but I think you're right....this embarrassing loss might have opened the door for Ross to do whatever he wants.
