That's it. He has to go. Forget blaming Henne. Don't even try and blame Carpenter for missing 4 FG's from 48 yds or longer. Sparano is the one regressing. The bottom line is you get paid for results and not intentions. Send him packing tomorrow and tell him to take Henning with him. I am sick of watching Sparano's brand of football.

Wahnstedt's brand of football was hard to watch but this is pathetic.

Wanny was BETTER, at least we made the playoffs under him

You do realize that Wanny took a team with 7 All Pro's and drove them into the ground, right?

Wanny regressed every year. He took JJs team to the playoffs and then his win loss ration dropped.

The whole staff, except for Nolan, should be shown the door. Do it as soon as possible so the new regime can start the search for some new talent on offense. I am hoping Henne goes with the staff....sorry to all the Henne lovers out there.

Yes he did. Wanstedt couldn't evaluate talent or draft. The point is that while those teams were very boring with the philosophy of field position, defense and a good FG kicker wins games, he won games.

Sparano's team seems to lack any type of killer instinct. They play to not lose instead of playing to win. This team shows nothing to hang your hopes on. How do you go 1-6 at home in Miami?

My point is that after 3 seasons, Wanny had a better record. Sparano is showing me nothing any better than Wanny did.

Wanny, really guys? Fletcher or Brees...Eddie Moore over Boldin. Shall we go on? His draft were horrible. I believe there was a draft where no one was on the team in yr 2 or 3. I'll take Sparono over Wanny.

Wanny took over a Playoff team. Sparano took over a 1-15 team.

I can't believe we're actually comparing the two.

I'll take Sparano over Wanny as well, but I think he still has to take some heat for Miami's uninspired play at home and also for the unexplicable play calls that we have witnessed this year.

If Bill Cowher really wants to come here, you have to cut ties with Sparano and take him.

On the back of a JJ provided team.

Perspective.

After today's game, I am teetering on joining you all on the get rid of Sparano and hire Cowher bandwagon ... if he is indeed interested in the J O B.

For once I would like to see a press conference that reveals more than what I all ready know. And, Cowher has the personality that fits what Parcells started here.

Sparano's philosophy is downright dreadful. Watching the fist pumps after field goals makes me want to gouge his eyes out. The team's offensive identity is directly tied to this man and the product we trot out there on the field is the result.

But, but....the team likes Sparano.....he is their best friend. Maybe he needs to start being a leader more than a friend?

Every team fights for their coach. Wade Phillips had a following of players, too, but they did give their all on game day. They will play for whomever is the head coach.

A new regime, i dont think that needs to happen! Get rid of henning yes but a new regime will just set this team back, they will come in and clean house! not like its a guaranteed 11-5 season if we get a new coach! new OC this team will be better without being sabotaged by henning!

Maybe a new coach doesn't guarantee an 11-5 season. But it would guarantee a new identity and it would definitely make a statement that mediocrity is not acceptable. Sparano is responsible for the constant churning of the roster and lack of continuity or depth. Sparano is responsible for the conservative approach on offense. Where is the mauling offensive ground game we were told was coming?

Why wait another few years to get a new head coach? A woman is no more pregnant at 9 months than she is 2 minutes after conception. It just shows more. Ross can wait another few years to decide change is needed. But in a few years it will just be more obvious that Sparano is not a quality head coach capable of making the Dolphins a playoff contender.
