Sparano was pleased with how Marshall looked on the field coming off a hamstring injury that kept him out of the last two full games, especially considering the damp and rainy conditions. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound wideout caught two passes for 16 yards and the touchdown but also ran some good deep routes.
“I was happy with the way he ran,” Sparano said. “I thought from a physical standpoint Brandon really never during the course of the game asked out of the game. We kind of did adecent job of getting him a blow when we needed to so his conditioning was good; his stamina was good. He was excited to play and I mean he really had a good week of practice and was pretty excitable during practice this week, which I think helped our group.”
