Post Ross refuses to answer Q's about Sparano's job security
Quote:
After telling The Miami Herald why he wanted the Dolphins to experience Lombardi, a play about legendary coach Vince Lombardi, Ross was asked ``what do you think so far of the job that Coach [Tony] Sparano . . .''
Before the question could be finished, Ross interrupted.
``I don't want to get into that,'' he said. ``I don't want to start talking about that. I love these guys. They're all great. I'm happy.''
A member of Ross' security team then stepped in. This interview was over. Ross' turf, Ross' rules. For now, the team's owner was simply interested in inspiring his team to a strong finish to the season.

This sounds a little overblown especially when you read, "...I love these guys. They're all great. I'm happy.''

Sparano hasn't lost the team and they still play hard for him. Its not like a Childress or Phillips situation.

And furthermore, even asking that question is irresponsible journalism. It's a terrible attempt to create news rather than report it.

If they are all playing so hard for him, then why does it seem that the team is under-achieving?

Just because they are a .500 team doesn't mean they aren't playing hard. They played hard last week against Cleveland...A certain someone just threw the game away. That's not on Coach Sparano.

Sadly that is what journalism has become in America.

although it was pathetic , the win today vs. the Jets & the fact that NE may not need the last game therefor giving us another win might save his job if it was ever in jeopardy.
