Al Harris’ homecoming with the Miami Dolphins has taken a sour turn.
According to a source, Harris’ 13th NFL season ended Tuesday when the Pompano Beach native was placed on injured reserve on his 36th birthday.

The veteran cornerback, signed as a free agent on Nov. 10 after the Packers released him off their Physically Unable to Perform list, played in three games for the Dolphins before hitting the injury report with what was officially termed a hamstring injury. Harris, the Dolphins’ oldest player, was inactive for Sunday’s home loss to the Browns.

Carey, Hartline, and now Harris ..... great. I'm almost ready for this season to be over.

Happy 36th Birthday, Al! Right on his birthday.

He looked good his first week, but not so well after.

Quote:
According to Pro Football Focus, Harris graded out well below average in pass coverage the past two weeks. He may get a few feelers in the offseason, but he's reached the journeyman stage of his career.

Yeap. Miami could not have used him on ST.

Sometimes, one just can't win, can they?

Allen sucked, Harris was a little better. Smith deserves the Job for now, our secondary has improved drastically since last season...
