Was anyone else impressed with Carroll in the Bears game? I thought he did a very nice job. Of course, he will always be remembered as the player we picked with the pick we received from the 49ers for Ted Ginn and family.

Carroll had the longest return of his brief career on the opening kickoff Thursday night, taking it at the 7, cutting left, getting outside the containment and going 46 yards to the Bears’ 46. The Dolphin offense sputtered there, however, and it proved to be one of the few times Miami ran plays in Chicago territory.
Carroll has excellent speed and is more and more showing the vision and explosive burst needed for long returns. He is also showing good judgment, opting to take a touchback twice Thursday when kicks were too deep to run out. He no Ted Ginn Jr. yet, but he is proving a much more viable option than Pat Cobbs.
