He was erradic at KC. One weekend he would have a terrific game followed by a lousy one. He had a penchant for the big play but with him, it was all or nothing. Quite the contrast to the conservative Henne. His 76 QB rating the year he started was amazing given the Chiefs were pretty bad that year. He scored 22 TDs that season even though he only started 11 games. If they can take some pressure off of Tyler and develop a gameplan to his strengths, Miami should win with him at QB.

Thigpen is a different QB than Henne or Pennington. Adds a new dimension to the offense, if Henning gets a wild hair up his arse we may actually be able to do something.

No film on our offense wit him at QB..

Roll his arse out, keep him on the move. Wear out the defenses...

He was also relatively young at KC. He has had time to develop. I am excited to see what he can add to this offense. Especially with his ability to make the big play.. and run. I'd like to see some new wrinkles with him in the WildCat.

I remember an article talking about how Thigpen never really got attention or help from the quarterbacks coach when he was in Kansas City. He went on to say how he's learned quite a bit from our coach David Lee since he has joined the Dolphins. Thigpen has a lot of raw talent, it will be interesting to see if he can put it together now that he has a more complete team around him. Who knows, maybe with the majority of the reps going his way, and everyone behind him he could have success and lead us somewhere. I guess we'll find out what he's got when he has to play four quarters against that Bears defense. If Thigpen can ignite our offense and lead us past Chicago, it's on like Donkey Kong!!!
