What else could go wrong?

Wake, Long, Henne, Pennington, Clemons, Bell, Berger...can any other key guys on the team get hurt?

Marshall is throwing a tantrum, Jamarcus Russell is coming in for a workout, we play the Bears on a short week.

Imagine how bad it would be if we actually lost the game?

yeah...this is obscene. You factor in all the other crap, injuries, bad officiating .....someone needs to pull out the voodoo pins because this team can't even win a big game without bad news. Conversely the Jets can't even give away wins. Teams like the Lions and Browns just give it right back to them. I stated earlier this season that it doesn't "appear" to be Miami's Year. This will give some backups the ability to step up and I suppose having a mobile Thigpen is all that more important.

Welp the odds are really against this season materializing into anything. Amazing how this happens.

John Clayton is reporting that he is done for the season.........Please say that isn't true.....He is bar none the single most important player on that offense.

Well if he dislocated his shoulder like everyone is claiming to be truth, that alone isn't enough to take him out all season...dislocations happen multiple times in a game...
The only reason it would be a problem is if the dislocation damaged anything. A dislocation by itself is nothing crucial or even most times considered an injury.

Also, do you have a link for your statement?

It seems as if the Dolphins and injuries have been good friends for several years now. I guess it is just bad luck, but could there be other factors at work here? Losing Long will really hurt the offense...and the line has been struggling on run blocking as it is. If Wake is gone, the defense will have to gamble more to generate a pass rush and that will probably expose the secondary again. Oh well, maybe the adversity will pull the team together??

Armando Salguero is saying that it is an injury he can possibly play with depending on how much additional damage he could do by playing.

I think the Dolphins need to move Carey over the OLT and sit Jake. Playing with a dislocated shoulder does not help him or the team. Time for Vernon to step of his play, BIG TIME.

There is no reason a dislocated shoulder should end his season.

Drew Rosenhause said on Sports Xtra that Jake Long had no ice pack on his shoulder and did not look in any discomfort after Sunday's win...

If he is done for the year, I'm crawling up in the fetal position in the corner, sucking my thumb, and crying 'make the bad man stop' for the rest of the season.

He can play with a harness or something I heard on ESPN, but we'll see. Short term injury it seems.
