I wouldn't mind seeing Russell as a #3 .... if he's lost some weight. If not, then he isn't serious about the NFL. Also, he'll have to answer some serious questions about that purple drank.

McCown will probably be brought in since he has some experience in the offense. I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff Garcia either as he is still in football shape. These would be my first two choices.

I would gladly take Pat White back with open arms before Jamarcus.

Also, Jeff Garcia is not a bad idea.

I find it hard to believe that Coach Sparano was wishing to change QB's half way through the season.

No he wasnt wishing, he did it. Did you watch the first offensive possession? Henne wasnt the starter, which means Sparano wanted a change, and made that change...

Now he has a short week, and he is short a couple QB's

Got his desire, a "spark" for this team.... :boo:

Hate to say this but Pat White should be one of the two they bring in.

He is already familiar with the playbook. I'd try and get Bouman too.

Maybe we need to be like baseball where there's trades after the deadline ... LOL ... I never understood that.

Not at all. Bringing in two stiffs off the street with zero playbook knowledge is not the right thing IMO. Keep perspective here, this is like selecting thru 10 grades of turd.

Can someone spell his name correctly? It's not Thigpin or Thigpan... it's not Pigpen or Frying Pan.

It's Thigpen.

This. It's about getting someone with even the most basic understanding of the playbook.

I'd much rather have White than a guy like Russell.

While I don't want Russell, there is no value in bringing in a guy who knows the playbook if he can't complete a 3 yard drag route.
