Pennington reinjured his throwing shoulder on the first Dolphins offensive play of the game.

Quote:
Chad Pennington left Sunday's Week 10 game after just two plays with a right shoulder injury and his return is doubtful. Pennington hit his right (throwing) arm on the back of LT Jake Long while following through on a pass. He was seen favoring his throwing shoulder on the way to the locker room. It's the same shoulder that's plagued Pennington throughout his career. He was replaced by Chad Henne.

Chad Henne is headed to the locker room after injuring his knee in the third quarter of Sunday's Week 10 game. Chad was having a solid afternoon after filling in for Chad Pennington, who was injured on the first series of the game. Henne was replaced by the Wildcat formation, as the team is buying time so that they don't have to use third quarterback Tyler Thigpen (and then not be able to have Henne come back in). The team continued with the Wildcat into the fourth, and it appears Thigpen, Ronnie Brown, and Ricky Williams will all see snaps at quarterback if Henne can't return. All pre-game planning has been thrown out the window.

And from Salguero:

Quote:
starter Chad Pennington lasted only two throws before suffering a shoulder injury that seems to be severe. Then Chad Henne, the starter the previous eight games of the season, came on and was solid. He completed 19 of 28 passes for 240 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

And then Henne injured his knee. The team fears it, too, could be serious.

Armando blogged that the team fears the Henne injury is serious.

We should definitely know more today.

Quote:
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Chad Pennington's likely season-ending injury is feared to be a dislocated shoulder. A dislocated throwing shoulder could require a fourth surgery, which would almost certainly end Pennington's season and perhaps the 34-year-old's career. The Dolphins are actively pursuing free agent quarterbacks as we speak.

Quote:
The initial diagnosis for Chad Henne's Week 10 injury is a dislocated left kneecap. A source tells Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that there's "a lot left to learn" about the injury in terms of MRIs and other testing. Amid reports he could be lost for the season, NFL Network's Albert Breer reports that Henne "hasn't been ruled out" for Thursday night's game against the Bears. We have a very hard time believing Henne would be cleared to play for Week 11, but should know more after the MRI results.
