Tyler came in and dealt with as tough a situation as you can deal with, and did a very solid job. He brings an added dimension to the Dolphins offense with his mobility, and he has a Chad Henne type of arm. He is a talented kid.

I think Pennington season is over again unfortunately, and we don't know what the status on Henne is. That being said, I would like to see Thigpen Thursday Night.

He'll definitely start Thursday Night.

Penny is done...Henne looked to have a knee injury. He's not going to come back in 3 days off of it.

Thigpen the savior!!

I think Thigpen gives the team the best chance to win right now. He should start.

Well by default, Thig starts.....Lets hope Henne can atleast be #2...You can bet if Henne can't be active, they'll have a QB in for a few tryouts this week....

The guy needs a chance to show what he can do. Give him 21 starts and see if he can do better than Henne.

Dude throws 6 passes and you've anointed him savior.

If Henne can go, he starts. I'm not even sure how this is a conversation. Henne played well today until he was hurt.

At least Thigpen doesn't miss an open Fasano in the end zone. Did you see Henne's INT again today? Henne can't run or escape from anything either. Thigpen has mobility and looks to make plays when he runs, not slide or run to the sidelines.

We might need to pick up a couple of QBs, lets keep our fingers crossed with Henne...

i'd like to see thigpen for at least next game and maybe more. he is a much better runner than henne and his pocket awareness and escapabilty are far better. not to mention that his play action pass actually might fool someone compared to robo-henne.

so the next thing comes down to passing. henne has showed bouts of being really good but he is so inconsistent. he can go from one great pass to missing wide open guy. then throw in the fact that he has been an interception machine. if thigpen can stay on the plus side of turnovers, i don't see passing to be that great of a henne advantage.

sparano wanted a spark and thigpen had it today. henne has had ample time. lets at least look at thigpen and see what we have. if it doesn't work out, henne can gain some perspective on the bench and hopefully come back a better qb.

Exactly. I wonder how much confidence the coaches have in Henne though. It will be interesting to see what direction they go in if Henne is able to play.

If Henne can't play, we need a back up QUICK. I've always been a John Beck fan; I wonder what it would take to get the Redskins to part with him? :bubblegum:

If Henne is still hurt then yes. Idk exactly how some of you just forget how bad Tyler is, he might come out and do good one play maybe one drive but he has some huge accuarcy problems A lot worse then Chads and never can have a whole good game HE is the definition of good backup thats it.

And what exactly made today a tough situation Miami was up 6 points all he had to was take care of it. Not to say I wasent happy with what he did, thats what he is here for.

Henne's One pick today you blame fully on him? If Brandon could stay on his feet that play wouldent have even happened.

Beck never got a fair shake here. We gave him no blocking, no weapons and threw him to the wolves. If I were him, and the Dolphins called, I'd tell them to kiss my butt. He might not ever be a great one, but we sure didn't give him much of a chance at all here in Miami. We gave Pat White a lot more leash and he was horrible.

Henne's INT was on Henne. He made several crap throws today. I enjoyed listening to a HOF QB in Fouts call those throws out too....no excuses.

Passing Cmp Att Yds TDs INTs
C. Henne 19 28 240 1 1

In 3 quarters of play in a game that he did not prepare being the starter for.

Yeah he sucks.... :hithead:

They put him in ahead of Thigpen, and avoided inserting Thigpen after Henne got hurt until they were sure Henne would be able to return to the game if he wasn't hurt too badly.

You are kidding right? Henne has been the starter all year, so has had tons of reps. Yet, you dismiss Thigpen's performance and the guy probably got no reps this week and a small number the rest of the year.

I know we are going with a 3rd string QB , no running game , disgruntled receiver , poor play calling on offense , terrible special teams ....BUT yes Thigpen starts Thursday night & I dont care if his backups are Jeff George & Jamarcus Russell , we ride him to the super bowl .... I got a feeling here , I am driving the bus , hop on board , cya in Big D.

It's interesting to see PR on the right side of an argument! Henne had a very good game with one bad pass. But FFF has a hard-on for ditching Henne, so he can pretty safely be ignored when it comes to him talking about Henne.

Tudo bem hoje, PR?

I didn't get to see the game. From everything I heard and read Henne had a slow start and then really turned it on. Sounds like he helped win the game. Probably the type of performance the coaches were looking for against a quality team after his benching. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

If Thigpen starts its because Henne is hurt. The guy threw 6 passes, lets not annoint him "the guy" just yet.

He came into a game where his team had the lead and he threw 6 passes. Kudos to him for not throwing it away but come on, you think that earns him the starting job?

He would have been the backup going into the game if the coaches had given up on Henne and favored Thigpen.

Henne has a huge body of work and it leads to a lot of INT's and one of the worst scoring offenses in the game today. If that has you excited, then great. I am hoping Thigpen is the spark we need. Henne was benched before today, but certainly the fan forum knows better than the coaches.

And reinserted immediately rather than Thigpen, but certainly FFF knows better than the coaches.

A number of times too!!!!!

Henne has a slowwwwww release..No escapability,nothing...He leaves alot of plays on the field...And the players around him are growing tired of it...

He at this point is very average...I don't think Thigpen is the savior but it's time for Henne to sit atleast a couple games and earn his job back...

Oh and Henne did not play well today...Come on, please.

So I'm a white guy with a Brazilian wife. What do you want? I do okay, but putting together anything real is tough for me.

I do, however, request a Portuguese menu when I go to a Brazilian restaurant because I only known the food in Portuguese. When it's written in English, I have no idea what they're talking about!
